Metrobit FZCO warrants to the buyer that products under the agreement will be free from defects of material and workmanship at the time of shipment and will be in accordance with specifications.

Metrobit FZCO warranty applies under the following terms and conditions:

1.  The limited warranty extends for a period of one year from date of shipment (unless otherwise indicated)
2.  Metrobit FZCO sole obligation under this warranty is limited to either repairing or replacing defective goods, at his sole option, and exclusive remedy under this warranty will be limited to said repair, replacement.
3.  This warranty extends only to, and is intended for the benefit only of, original purchaser or its end Customer, and does not obligate, and shall not be construed to obligate, Metrobit FZCO to any person or organization other than customer or its end Customer.
4.  The customer shall return such defective part or parts to Metrobit FZCO repair center immediately upon customer’s discovery of the defect in question.
5.  The warranty shall only be valid if the product is installed, maintained and operated in accordance with the respective product documentation.
6.  The customer shall have no coverage or benefits under this limited warranty if any of the following conditions are applicable:
   a. The product has been subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, exposure to environmental conditions not conforming to the product’s specified limits of operation, improper handling or transportation, improper installation or maintenance, or has been altered or repaired by anyone other than Metrobit FZCO or its authorized representative.
   b. The product has not been installed and maintained according to the Installation Guidelines for Lightning & Surge Protection.
   c. The product has not been installed and maintained according to the Guidelines for Humidity and Dust Protection.
   d. The product has been damaged from external causes such as collision with an object, force majeure, battery leakage, or improper use of an electrical source.
   e. The product serial number plate has been removed, defaced or altered.
   f. The product has been subjected to theft, damages due to negligence, or vandalism.
   g. The software has been damaged by computer or internet viruses, including but not limited to: bugs, worms, Trojan Horses, cancelbots or damage caused by the connection to other products not recommended or acknowledged for interconnection based on standards
   h. The product has been operated beyond rated capacity, operated outside of the product specifications, used or applied negligently or improperly, or used with parts which are not made or recommended based on specifications.
   i. The product has been damaged in transit (claims to be handled by consignee, unless otherwise indicated).
7.  Third party products are covered under the manufacturer’s pass-through warranty
8.  Metrobit FZCO is not liable for any claim or claims for consequential damages which may result, either directly or indirectly, from defects in products provided by Metrobit FZCO.
9.  Metrobit FZCO provides an extended corrosion warranty that covers rust-through perforation of cabinets, structures and shelters and shall be valid for 3 years from Metrobit FZCO shipping date. “Rust-through perforation” in this context means that the primary functions of the cabinet have significantly deteriorated (primary functions are defined as: protection of the installed equipment and mechanical strength/capacity).
   Applicable Law:
   • This limited hardware warrantee is governed by and construed under the laws of United Arab Emirates
   • This limited hardware warrantee may be subject to Metrobit FZCO change at any time without prior notice.
